High island 7/21 dirty pelican area

Gonna give a run and try the dirty pelican area Friday 7/21. I was down at crystal beach last weekend for kids birthday at the water slide shrimp boats are crazy down there gotta be some sharks hanging around. Anyone wanna go let me know.

7-730ish I typically launch alittle closer towards rollover .... directly across from the big gray metal building ... it's couple hundred yards from the actually dirty pelican launch ...I'm gonna be staying in crystal beach so I'm pretty flexible if that won't work

Coordinates r on the pics .... u can't miss the metal building before rollover ....plenty of area to park and launch .... I drive a blue f150 with a red hobie outback

Wish I could say yes but thats just too far for me to drive from North Houston for just sharks. Im gonna head back to South Jetty . Good luck to yall

Ur welcome to fish for what you like but the main two species caught in this area is bull reds and sharks .... I personally prefer sharks

Fished from 730 to 1100 .... pretty slow caught one black tip around 5ft and lost another decent shark but never got to see it more than likely a blacktip .... wasn't a great trip but didn't get skunked and it was nice to hear a reel screaming
