Had a free couple of hours so I decided to try HI on Sunday. I was lazy so I did not get there until about 3:30 pm. Water was nice with a slight break right at the shoreline. Ended up catching 3 large Gafftops but nothing else. Since I was the only Yak on the water and generally prefer a crowd, I only went out about 500 yards off the beach. Did not see many birds working and the water was brown as far as the eye could see.
Still, a good way to kill a few hours.

Sorry to hear that I was hoping to hear about reds and shark. What were you using for bait?
