Bought 3 rods off Craigslist for $90 sold the 8' Calcutta for $200 on eBay and bought the pre-owned swedish made never used abu6500 off Craigslist for $100 and put it on one of the Shimano Beast Master fighting rods. These rods are perfect for btb short handles and super light one is 6' the other 6'6". Check out the custom guide wrapping, hope one of them guides don't break.

From what I understand this rod is extremely rare and I've seen them go for as high as $250 used

This one I bought the reel at a pawn shop for $30 which is in excellent shape and the rod is a Berkeley 7' mh lighting rod I paid $40 at BP. Not as good of a deal but still cheap.
