Looks like a north wind about 13 mph and low tide Saturday morning.....we're going in the bay boat Saturday. Might get in the yak Sunday.....good luck!

I was thinking of going out to christmas bay but the wind says 16-20mph is that bad even in shallow marsh areas?

The ideal wind is 10 mph or less.

Thanks fishtolive, i went over to the marsh by freeport but no luck. It was my first time kayak fishing butbit was quite an experience. I used live mullet and some plastics along with some top water jigs but nothing. I even tried dead shrimp and cut bait. Next time ill go earlier so i can get some live shrimp.
