Makin rig run, sat at surfside. Will get there bout 11am fisnin till I run outta bait. Awell info shows for 0-1 ft seas

You may want to rethink the rig run for Saturday:
You didnt miss anything. The water was green and there were dead shad all the way out to the first set of rigs on the Southwest side so roughly 4-5 miles out. 2 of us trolled for 15 miles with not even a hookup.
This is a report from two AI guys that saw dead fish for as far as 5 miles offshore, last weekend.

I just canceled my trip to BA-16 for Wed.......................RED TIDE and dead fish make for a awful trip!

how long does something like that take to clear? Or is there no real answer for that?

no real answer, it'll all depend on the current and wind. But to be honest IDk if the kings or SMACS would eat fish floating on top like that. I wonder if they have some sort of a natural instinct that would stop them from eating the shad thinking that something might be wrong with them.....

I'm still at least going to run some baits Sat and Sun at Surfside...

Sundays lookin like 3 ft swells. Need easy trip not tryin to put mucb Work in tbis time lol. If Co.ditions dont i.prove by sat ima try to hit It up net weekend.
