Aerial Display: Jumping Black Tip Shark

Post by Legocrusader »

I was goofing around with some video trying to zoom in and slow down a fight I had with black tip that put on a nice aerial show. I'm no video guru, but I tried.

Did you see yourself at the end, Mike? I took that one of the days we were all together this month.

I'm kind of wimpy. Once they get over 3 foot I don't like to hold them.. He was around 4'. I made the rookie mistake once a few years back where I put a 4 footer in the back of my kayak, once I thought he was "out of juice". He had a sudden surge of energy. As he thrashed around the kayak I found myself at the bow (my friends said I was screaming like a little girl. I disagree. LOL).. He did rip the fabric on my PA's seat. That was costly to replace. Lesson learned. I'm trainable (at least that's what my wife says.)

Hey LegoCrusader, nice video! - would be interested in seeing your camera mount / selfie stick - Been trying to come up with something besides the traditional front or rear pvc pipe mount.

Sweet video. It's rare for them to cooperate for the camera.

Congrats!

Legocrusader,
As a matter of fact, I did! In my original response, I typed something about me being there, but erased it as I didn't want to steal any of your thunder..............as stated previously, I thought it was a great video.

I've had several BT go aerial. Strangest thing was one bull red I got jumped out of the water twice and did a short tail walk, too. I did not expect that one.

I still have another week of school. I also signed up to teach summer school.. I have to support the fishing addiction somehow.
