Here's the new ride Heritage Fisherman Pro 14

Post by Jerry Hamon »

Not the best pic's but here she is...

Image

I added a set of paddle clips, A Scotty mount,
and a rack to hold my X-tools and vhf radio.
The ff is in the console. You can barely see the transducer bracket hanging over the side under the crate.

Image

I also built a crate from a Container Store bin ... it works GREAT !!!

Image

I've had her out three times and she's awsome to fish from.

Good looking!

Now you need to go on a sleigh ride with DJ and me!

Salt water just makes it work better!

Oh, yeah. Got started on our trailer . . .

I won't be home until tomorrow evening to take a pic of it, but I'll be in it on Saturday so I'll definately take one then. Hopefully with a fat trout beside it.
I made the frame out of 1/2" pvc pipe and 8 elbow tee's. I built it to fit the space in the yak and then used zip ties to secure it to the crate.
Then the whole thing is bungeed down at the four corners using bungee cords.
PVC parts: $10
8 pack bungee cords: $5
Crate: $0
extra cargo space: priceless

I don't have a yak as of yet. I will drop the hammer on that in time. However, here are a couple of pictures of my ride.
