I wouldn't call it an original idea, might be an original "design" but not an original idea.

DGAX,
Wow!!
My X-Factor has been referred to as "a floating West Marine" because of all the stuff I load in it.......but I don't even come close to you.
And, I don't think I will either......I use to carry two milk crates and have now gone to just one.
I have only seen one other yak with as much stuff as yours on it.
All I can say is WOW!

dgax65, when fishing 11 poles simultaneously, have you ever run into a situation with your lines crossing? If not, what's the best strategy to avoid this?

I just roll the yak and wrap up the fish in all of the tangled lines
I normally go out with 5 rods. The other rod holders hold the gaff, pump, landing net and also give me some flexibility to move rods around. Those pictures with all of the rods were just taken to show all of the mounting options.......
and to show the depths of my deep seated mental problems that drive me to mount more crap on my kayak.

My kayak now weighs as much as my local West Marine

I had to say something about that picture, it just looked too funny. Do like your fleet of yaks. Will you give me some feedback on the RAM mount.
