Scrambler xt milkcrate equivilent?

Post by TomE »

The standard milkcrates will not fit the scrambler. What have the other scrambler and spec owners using these days? The tankwell is 11x16 inches and i'm having a hard time finding anything that will work.

When I had my spec I trimmed about a inch off of each side of a milk crate and it fit just fine. Just measure the tank well and the crate.

when I first had my spec I put a small hard side ice chest back there, later when I realized I didn't need that much on the back of my yak I moved to a rectangular basket I found in the garage. Go to hobby lobby and see if you can find something that fits your dimensions.

I use a basket that was given to me. It is the same size as the baskets used at Academy for carrying your stuff around while shoping. My yak is a speck and the basket fits great.

Well you can resize a milk crate as I am thinking about doing.

No the side baskets not necessary:
