Bimini top

Anyone have any experience using this on their yak?

Seems like a good idea under the right conditions & mounted in the right spot, but I imagine it would get in the way of paddling/casting and would be a liability should the wind pick up. Then again, a simple ballcap would be MUCH cheaper and less dorky. Thoughts?

They work great on the Hobie Mirage boats since you don't have to paddle and they do keep tons of sun off you. The top is fully adjustable and makes for great shade on those hot Texas summer days. You can sit comfortably under it and fish if you turn side saddle, if you choose to sit normal then you just have to do more of a side arm cast.

No problem, I sell the Hobie for a living so I get to try out all of the cool stuff that they keep coming out with. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask on here or call me at the shop.

Looks like a great wind catcher! Who needs a sail?

My idea of fun doesn't include trying to paddle or peddle with a great big wind catcher blowing me around.
