Fish Storage

Post by CoastalFisher2334 »

I have a WS Tarpon 120. I have been using a cooler with rod olders as long as i had it but it has it's down sides. I took out my cooler and put in a rigged milk crate. What my question is is what do any of you think about the CFS FISH AND STORAGE BAG. My worries are if i put it on the bow of my yak than it could through of the center of gravity and how durable are the bags. Any inpute?

How about a 7$ sam's bags in the back of the tw or bungied to the crate if it is not too high to cause wind problems?

Probably will not cause problems in the front. Put the equiv weight in the front and paddle around some time to see for sure.

I made a insulated fish box that fits in the front hatch of my tarpon 160. Coleman foam sleeping bag pad from Academy, box cutter & hot glue gun is all you need.Fits in real nice & can be removed for cleaning.
