Since the dealers are out of stock on these I built my own.
Used a 1" Phenolic tube instead of a metal tube.
Fairly easy to make.
Set up for a transom mount style trolling motor.

Pretty slick. I think I'd add angled brace (like plywood) to help support the vertical portion. Paint it black and it'll look almost factory made.willee wrote:Since the dealers are out of stock on these I built my own.

Without Neumie's angle brace, the thrust on the end of the motor arm lever will fatigue and split the wood in the joint.
You could simply glue-in the angle brace, holding cure time with a wood clamp.
