Old Town Topwater vs. Bonafide RS 117
Considering these two boats. Not my first kayak, but getting back into the paddle over the pedal. Have had OK Trident and Big Game 2, as well as the Hobie PA 12. Not looking for a BTB boat, just something to enjoy the rivers. Anyone have any first hand experience with either of these?

Welderdude,
Gosh! I won't be able to help with those two paddlers, might be adding to the confusion by suggesting a third.
But, take a hard look at the Native Slayer 12 XC as a third possibility based on how you plan to use the kayak. It has a built-in chute for drag anchors, horizontal rod and vertical rod holders, multiple seat height, and a retractable skeg that'd be great for rivers. It looks to be one of the best thought-out of the latest paddlers.
This'd be the one I'd choose out of the three.
Cheers, best luck! Brad

Re: Old Town Topwater vs. Bonafide RS 117
further confusing the issue, my buddy's Jackson Coosa (not the FD) is the best river paddle boat I've ever seen.
Big freeboard, adjustable seat height, not too heavy at 65 lbs (ok, that's heavy for 11'), but really handles and spins.
Not knowing where you are, but Duane, TG Kayak, carries more different boats in inventory than any other Texas dealer, and demo's anytime on the San Marcos River, in his backyard (has always been a livery on the river).
