Rust Busted! Evapo-Rust

Post by YakRunabout »

Things get rusty - that's what you get for playing in salt water. I have used Evapo-Rust for some time to remove rust from all sorts of items and have found that it works well. Am in the process of cleaning up some items on my trailer, like tie-down loops, etc. and am now working on the moon caps for the wheels. Just a bit rusted, both inside and outside. I am soaking one inside the other (this soaks the inside of one and the outside of the other) - this one was on the bottom and so sat in the overflow most of the afternoon and overnight. Since it was not fully submerged only the center section was treated and so shows a great example of how well the product removes the rust. I have not wiped this at all, just removed it from the pan.

I have another product, Metal Rescue, which I assume works in the same way, though I have not yet used it. I later found the Evaporust and so am using that first.
