Trolling Motor Battery Solution - much lighter!

Post by shoffer »

Check this out. Battery for trolling motor that weighs 1 pound - by three and have all day power. Nearly the same price as a 12v 35ah battery, but 28 pounds lighter.

82800mAh converts to 82 Amp hours. If that small battery gets you 82 Ah of use then I will buy two or three and never come home!!!
Please let us know but I don't think it will be 82 Ah though. It may turn out by the size to be only 8 amp hours which is less than an hour of 30 lb TM use.
If you look at the 7 Ah deer feeder batteries they may a bit more and are a bit bulkier than these and only $20.
Let us know!

I'm interested to see how it will last (how many times you can recharge it) since it's not a deep cycle battery.

Gents - I, too, remain skeptical, but at 50 bucks, I am happy to try it out and if it does not work, then I have a jump starter kit for my car, as well as a power bank for my electronic devices, both of which can certainly come in handy if my hopes are dashed.

 That's the way I was looking at it. I knew you would be fine with a good charger even if it may not do a TM for hours on end.
