Cabin LED

Post by 5fangers »

Of the color choices for cabin LEDs, which color would least attract bugs yet allow for me to see? I'll still have a headlamp on.
Blue, green, red, warm white

Red attracts the least amount of bugs if any at all. I have found blue is OK but still attracts and green and white forget it, you need a guile suit to survive!
But red is still not a great choice to see. Sometimes an ultraviolet lights works.

So is red more of an ambient lighting that's not really useful? Hmm wonder if I should just save some cash and buy the deluxe kit from Supernova.. Those don't come with the cabin lights.
