I watched their video, very nice! Same principle I used, but their iron gets a lot hotter and gets the job done quicker. I was going to put some mesh in there, but the stuff I got from work had paint on it, so I thought I'd just try it without first. If I had more cracks to fix, I would buy one of the KC irons for sure.TG05 wrote:You need something like a KC Welder. Spent 5 hours in the water today, kayak was bone dry inside when I got done. Even caught a few fish;

See there! As soon as you used a Home Depot orange bucket it got better. Looks great, and the red was a beaut!
