Hey friend gifted me a hand-me-down vantage seat and I’m l ooking for a brilliant solution to attach it to my ancient (2003) Hobie Mirage Hank Parker Outback Fisherman. Anybody got any bright ideas to make sure my seat doesn’t fall off the boat? Thanks in advance!!

I used pad eyes and bungee cords on mine to attach a stadium seat. It works really well and easy to unattach when needed

Cool idea...here is a vid a saw the other day...
He contacted Hobie to make sure the points the seat are on can support his seat. Just a suggestion to help you out.

Check out how I installed a raised seat on my 2013 Outback.

Since then, I have replaced the velcro straps used to hold the back of the seat down with two, one foot lashing straps I purchased here:

Seems like you can do the same thing with the Vantage seat.
