Looking for utility box storage options around the seat on NuCanoe Pursuit
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. I mostly fish from my Skeeter bay boat for bass but was recently given a Pursuit x don’t even know where I’m going to store it.

I am not sure I understand the question. How big is the utility box and is it something you also take on your bass boat?

What a lot of guys do is build a fishing crate that sits behind the seat and bungee it down so it doesn't move around. Everything from fishing tackle, small cooler, anchor can go in it. It is easy to detach and move to your bay boat so you always have your gear with you. You can find how to do in this section.

Most kayaks are also built with notches in their stermwell to fit a standard milk crate.OrangeQuest wrote:What a lot of guys do is build a fishing crate that sits behind the seat and bungee it down so it doesn't move around. Thanks guys. I know about the crate and crate space. I was just wondering if anybody had fashioned any sort of under or side of seat for one or two boxes that are "active". Maybe like a TackleWebz solution or something similar. I may simple put a box in a custom fit mesh bag that I can leash to bottom of the seat.

Container store is a great place to find all kinds of plano-type clear, compartmented tray boxes, like you can see stacked in my crates.
These are very easy to handle from a kayak on the footwell deck, and stash under your seat to keep handy - and they stack up neatly in a crate.

I read my original post and figured out how confusing it was. I was just looking for near seat, small tackle storage options. I know about the crates.
When I said "I didn't know where I was going to store it" I meant the kayak. I have not picked it up yet and my point was that I don't even know what I am doing with the yak much less near-seat storage options.
I have seen a few neat things on YouTube in the interim however.
Thanks for all of the replies.

the only thing more fun than rigging kayaks is building up a bicycle from a bare frame.
