Thought I'd share. It's a fairly inexpensive solution.... ~$25 depending on scraps in garage
$23.00 Kayalu R25
$1.25 Cheap Pipe Insulation (1/2")
0.50 3/4 to 1/2 PVC Bushing
0.50 3/4 FEM Adapter
X.XX 1/2 PVC (Cut to length), I had scrap
3 Zip ties
See pics. Easy assembly. I used Gorilla Glue, as did not have PVC primer/glue handy.
Assembly:
Glue 1/2 PVC to 3/4to1/2" Bushing to 3/4 FEM Adapter
Kayalu light press fits into 3/4 F adapter and is fairly snug with bungee.
I had an xtra lanyard in my box-o-xtra parts to ensure I didn't lose the light if it took a dunk.
Pipe insulation for flotation attached with zip ties - maybe lure storage;)
I use my seat rod holder, as I have separate one on the kayak. Design allow the light to be used separately too.
Hope this helps someone else. Enjoy!
