Storage of Hobie Pro Angler 14

Post by t.chris »

I am so excited to be back into kayak fishing! I bought a Hobie PA 14 at the Houston Boat show today and need to figure out the best way to store it. I will keep it in the garage year round. I assume I may need to take more care than I did with my Ocean Kayak prowler as this yak is significantly heavier and could cause damage. I'm looking to the sages on this site to assist in determining the best method of storage including me building a rack or a hanging contraption. I don't have a trailer and really don't plan to get one since I will be hauling the yak with a bed extender in my pick-up. Thanks in advance for your help!

I built a cart out of 2x4's the same height as my pickup bed. I can just slide my PA 14 on and off the back of my truck very easily. Put wheels on it and roll it around anywhere I need. The only picture I have is with my old Stealth 14 on it.
