Help me rig my rig

well today I'm picking up my first kayak, a perception pescador 100 pro. I'm anxious to get out on the water and was wondering if any of you seasoned anglers could help me out.

Keep it REALLY simple and have more fun.

Take everything you think you'll need for a day of fishing. Do that a few times and then see what you really used and where you laid things in the kayak. You'll probably cut your load in half. From my own experience, I take along some combination of anchor, sonar unit, night light, small cooler, main tackle tray and assorted very small tackle trays. I made a crate but only used it once, I bought some Scotty rod holders but never use them.
