Seat Riser for Ultimate 14.5 native yak

Post by pearow »

I'm trying to raise the seat on my 14.5 ultimate. Anyone done this? Pics would help. Having trouble with the pan fitting because of the brace under the lip of the yak-p-

Don't know if you can see what I've done, but it's real simple. Go to Home Depot and get a section of the 4" plastic flexible drain pipe, the one with no holes in it. Cut two pieces to fit the outside edge of the seat, fit them up, mark holes, and drill holes in the base plate to accept cable ties. It's raise your seat up just perfect and should cost less than $10 to do it.

Your Ultimate will still be very stable with the elevated seat.
