New kayaking articles and info update.

Post by JimD »

I Hope all is well with each of you and your families.

I have been busy and not been very active in kayaking lately. I took a minute to review and see what is going on with our board and on the other two boards that I used to stay us with to see what is going on in the rest of the country.

I recommend going to both sites and reading their articles since they offer a different perspective from different parts of the county with “Great Articles”, “How To’s”, general kayak information that we do not have. The "do it yourself rigging" board on the second on is one of the best that I have seen for info for rigging plus the pictures of rigged kayaks.

On both take time to look thru all the articles as with our board they are completely different in what they offer you. All of which is great stuff though not all is applicable to the Gulf Coast.

Is the west coast site with a ton of info esp for the new kayaker and the person that wants to kayak the gulf. They do a lot of ocean kayaking and have tons of other info that is worth reading.

http://www.kayakfishingstuff.com/community" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is where my old favorite site was “Do it yourself” rigging. They have Yankee Ingenuity. (Course it is too cold to fish up there a lot of the time so they have to do something. ;)

I have picked up a lot of different ideas and had help with a few problems off this forum over the years.

If you cannot go fish then see what you can learn from others and how they solved their kayaking questions.
