Live bait bucket that works?

Post by JimD »

I use live bait about 1 or 2 times a year because I spend 10$ on the small portable bubbler because I get mine wet each time and they are toast after that. They slip and fall into the water nearly every trip when I take my son.

Look at the article below where guy worked around that problem if you use live bait. I use a 5 gal bucket with the yellow topped wadders bait bucket. Think this might work for down here too.

Chunked one yesterday used one time last year with Mike for shrimp. I still carry a small cast net with me but usually never get around to using it.

I've built and used that same set up and it does work. On the "mr.bubble" I'm going to try a small dry bag.
