Rigging the Bubba Clucker lure.

Post by texnomad »

I saw a Bubba Clucker the first time today and naturally a bag of them came home with me. As I sat at the table looking it over, it seems that they can be rigged a few different ways. Would the experienced folks on here throw out how they rig and fish the Bubba Clucker please?

I tried fishing it this morning here at Rockport and quickly found out that the little perch loved eating the curly tails off the lure.

I really like these lures the action on them is awesome. I just rig them up like a gulp. And so good thumps from flounder at TCD, I blame myself for not catching on though

Try a short shank jig head. Big seller on the upper coast.
