Penn Battle II 5000 "Superline Spool"
I ordered a Penn Battle II 5000 off of Amazon. I had a gift card otherwise I would have picked it up in the store. There is a rubber gasket called "superline spool" on the reel; so supposedly there is no backing necessary for braided line. Before my reel comes in, what are your thoughts on the "superline spool?" Does it work properly or should I just put backing on it anyways?
