Bass Assassin Red Daddy
Bass Assassin Red Daddy
Has anyone in the South Padre Bay area use a Bass Assassin Red Daddy for Reds; are they any good? I'm thinking of trying them out, but why bother if they are no good.

I use these regularly in the marshes around Galveston. They work really well. Like throwing them a gold spoon and plastic at the same time, if one don't get em the other will.
They have a lots of action with that spoon, really thump through the water.

That's one of my favorite baits for reds. If you get into a grassy area and find it keeps hanging up, try one of these: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Owner_Fl ... OFSCP.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Doesn't make as much noise but I've caught some really solid fish on those.

I like the H&H Redfish Jig Spinners. A 3-pack is about $3. Just add your favorite jighead/plastic. I like the H&H Curl Tail.
