help with fish finder/depth finder

Post by aaroncp »

Not new to fishing but new to needing one of these bad boys. Not looking for latest and greatest, something affordable to take on the kayak. Any brands or models?

I'm pretty happy with the Lowrance Elite-4 HDI. GPS, regular sonar, and down scan. Not too big, easy on and easy off. Don't forget to factor in a battery, display mount, and transducer mount in your plan.
