Sweetwater Lake this weekend
Picking up my first kayak and heading to Galveston bay this Saturday. I've been to the GISP a couple of times with limited success. I'll be heading to Sweetwater Lake. Any advice or tips?

Did you have any luck in Sweetwater? I just got a new yak and was thinking of trying out sweetwater. .

I ended up going to Galveston Island State Park... I'm probably going to try Sweetwater next time down.

Where are yall from? I am in abilene and look for different places around the area to fish. Does sweetwater still have water in it?
