kayak selection

Post by shortbus »

i am in the process of selecting my first kayak. i am 5'10", 240. i am leaning towards the malibu, it looks sturdy enough to handle my big butt!!! is there anyone of similar stature that is currently using one of the malibu models? if so, your comments will be appreciated. it will be used in bays and lakes most of the time.

If you are looking at the Malibu's for a stable DRY ride you should check out the Malibu Pro Explorer for sale here.

It is a ride to meet the guy but a great deal.
I had one I used for offshore BTB and sold it to buy a FnD.
I have a Ride for the bays.

The first kayak I owned that did not need scupper plugs to stay dry.

I am 5'10" & 230
