Fishing Takle Unlimited......they have a small pool you can test yaks out. Also come to Paddle Cast Demo days. Oct. 28 in Seabrook off Toddvile Rd. They will have some yaks out there to try.

Great advice, will try both. Regarding rental, have a trip planned 10-21-23 Galveston with others who Kay, but not ready to purchase.. Would like to lock in a Yak for Rent prior to those dates. Wind Surf &Paddle's sight says they stopped renting. Any other locations to suggest??

FTU now has some boats to rent.

We have a T160 w/ rudder, Ride (old style), T140, Heritage 14.

We will be trying to get a rental Ride (new style), hopefully, the Searches 13 & 15 and Synergy.
