Beginner kayak fishermen locations

Post by pokipo_on_yak »

Hello, my friend and I are new to kayak fishing and would like to know any good locations for beginners.
We live in Houston and we prefer salt water fishing.
Thanks for helping a yak newbie.

you might try posting this on the Saltwater forum page - with the new arrangement of the forum blocks, not so many folks travel down the page to see this...

a good idea, search the forum for the PACK group, go to their meetings - you can go on outings and plug right in with experienced kayak fishers.

I always take newbies to Galveston island State Park and fish in Lake Como. Protected water, easy paddling. You can just drift through it several times and usually at least catch small trout.
