New to kayak fishing

I bought me a couple kayaks about a month ago and have been out a few times in them. It’s definitely different trying to fish out of them and keeping control. I’ve fished the orange area of the river a few times recently in a bass boat but was really wanting to try the area in the kayak. Is there any launches towards the back of cow bayou around the bridge that crosses it that I can use? Cow bayou marina is closed according to one person and Peggy’s place shows to be a restaurant. Didn’t know if they had a landing or not.

I live in Louisiana but really enjoyed the fishing there and have both my license for the year. I also want to try the burnout bridge area on Louisiana side but with our stupid waterway laws not sure what’s public.

Any help is greatly appreciated and maybe I can find some people to hook up with and try it out. I’m not secretive about spots at all.
