First Kayak

Thanks for letting me into the forum. I just bought my first kayak, an Ocean Kayak Prowler 13. I've owned all kinds of boats in my 68 years, from canoes to flat bottoms, skiffs to inflatables and fished everything from farm ponds to Cook Inlet with 'em. (Dunno why I waited until I was old and crochety to get a paddle-powered one to transport by car-top!)

Found some good tips on here, and am gearing up to head for Rockport in the morning.
