Just ordered my first. Pescador angler 120. Academy has them in an online bundle with paddle(Magellan) and a life jacket for 399.00. Didn’t seem like a bad deal for a starter. Now just the waiting for it to ship. I have no patience. Lol

Tough price to beat, and a good first price if you find you want something else in a couple years. One friendly suggestion is make sure the pfd is comfortable for you so you'll actually wear it. If it's not good for your body shape or kayak seat, get one that is. Enjoy and welcome to the addiction.

I second the recommendation for a properly fitting pfd. And enjoy the first yak.
