Howdy!
Just got registered, and looking forward to learning and eventually sharing! I recently bought a used WS Tarpon 140 and I'm sure to have lots of questions as we get accustomed to each other.

Nice boat you have. It'll lead to plenty of fish and great stories. Post up a report when you get a chance!

Welcome!
Well, you got the hard part over with. Now get you some Troutsupport DVDs and some inshore fishing maps and Go Get Em!
Oh yeah, keep that thing right side up, and always wear your PFD.

What part of Texas do you reside in?
Re: New to forums; new to kayak ownership
I live in North Harris county, but the couple of times I have taken my kayak on the water have been in the Surfside area. Twice to Christmas Bay, and once to the surf. I really need to practice surf entries; managed to smack myself in the jaw with the boat! I'll post a full report in a different thread.
