So true about the arms. My first yak was a Hobie with a Mirage drive. I sold it and got a Viking Profish Reload and had to learn to paddle for the first time. At first my arms would be sore the day after paddling. Then, I came across some great videos that explained how to paddle properly and what I had been doing wrong that caused my sore arms.
