When I'm financially ready for a new kayak I plan on getting either a cuda or ride. What are the cons and pro between these two. I would like to get input from cuda owners and ride owners. Right now I'm leaning more towards the cuda. I just recently sold my tarpon and loved it. Does the ride paddle just as good or is the cuda faster? So lets hear it. Pros and cons. Not looking to start a debate as to which is better. Just looking for owners inputs on what you like about your boat and what do you wish they would change. I have demoed a cuda and loved it but just want to know what does the WS ride have to offer that the cuda doesn't

I have the Cuda I love it! This is my first kayak and I have never been in another kind. You will not be making any tight turns in it tho. Im a woman so it is kind of heavy for me to move around.

I had a ride 135(09') and liked it. It was a wet ride, but that does not bother me.
It seems that the jackson lines are geared towards fishermen.
Now I have a coosa, can not say enough about the seat!!! On the ride, my legs, back and knees would be sore after a half day of fishing.
I am interested to see the new high low seat from Wildy. Can't comment on the cuda, never paddled one.

I have the ride 135 with the phase 3 seat. I bought it on the 15th and have put in 9 hours on Lake Belton. Keeping up with the distance and so far 8.75 miles of paddling.

The seat has many different adjustments to allow for a better positioning. I am just under 350 lbs and the boat does what I ask it to.

One thing I keep hearing as a dislike is that the boat is heavy (85 lbs) when out of the water. I am gorilla strong so loading to boat onto my invsa-rack (8 plus feet off the ground) is something I can do solo.

I purchased the angler package but did not let the seller do the accessory install. Not certain how much I want to clutter up my boat.

I have the rudder kit but have yet to install it. Most things I read say a rudder on that boat makes a difference.

I stayed out on lake Belton on my cuda for 6 hours yesterday. I'm getting better at putting it where I want it to go. I love the seat. You can have it low for paddling or high for fishing. All of my fishing supply's are easy to get to. I went to the ack demo and I got to say none of the kayaks their was as good as mine. I like my but to stay dry!
