Hi Lone Star Anglers,

I hope every ones summer has been filled with bent rods & ripped lips. It's all most time for the 3rd event of the season on August 15th & i can't wait to see y'all. We all ready have a few anglers registered so it looks like there are some excited anglers chomping at the bit for their shot a some cash & awesome sponsor prizes.

We will be back at the Lazy Lizard in San Leon for the weigh in. We should have the field across the street available for parking, so that should help everyone not have to park very far.

If you have never fished a Lone Star event ... entry is $65, single person event, 75% CASH payout to the top 25% of the field + sponsor prizes, trophies for 1st-3rd, 2 redfish, artificial only, inshore only, paddle craft only, 1/2lb bonus for live weigh in & release, boundaries are from Sabine Pass to Colorado River/East Matagorda Bay & Angler of the Year Title, cash, prizes & the LSKS Cup ! Yep ...it happens sometimes ... we have used the same weekends for the last 4 seasons ... & they will always be the same weekends for future LSKS events in case you want to plan ahead

Aaron it's the one the make for GRS, same as the LSKS rod. I like it though may have to check out some of there others.

Is it too late to get a petition going to have Scott Story sit out this event? He just won the Survival Series and placed 2nd in the GRS a few days ago. He probably could have pulled off first in that one too but I'm sure Charlie held him back.

Been saying it for years....the Fish Whisperer he is. And yes, I'm sure that Charlie severely impacted his ability to place first. Only thing Charlie can win is raffles
