There was a report that he may have been on the water earlier this week, couldn't be positively id'ed though. He may have secured a weekday kitchen pass. Still hav'nt seen his name on the list though.

We are a month out now with 35 signed on the dotted line. I realize others are just waiting closer to the deadline of the of April 14 th at midnight, and there is plenty of time . Just don't get busy and forget about it. If we hit 115 its gonna pay a grand for first place. Not to shabby for a bunch of guys and gals in plastic boats. It truly is up for grabs , anyone could win it but you gotta enter. Tons of prizes from our sponsors, and we have the best ! Great raffle during the weigh in. You'll never know unless you go. Should be an awesome season .

Heck might even try and fab a livewell in the front tankwell of the slayer, it's 7" deep and 32" long. Plenty of room for two reds:cool:

Just curious, what was the heaviest Redfish weighed in for this tournament?
Second thought, this might be a secret way to restock Highland Bayou.

Not a 100% sure on this , but I remember back in 2012 Matt C. weighed one in that was around 9.7 pounds.

Lets see if we can get 100 anglers for this one. That would cool to see for sure!

Kayak fishing is becoming more and more popular I believe we should be able to hit the 100 angler mark for the first tourney.

It looks like we have a decent outgoing tide for this tourney which should make the catching good - weather dependent of course.

Looking forward towards this event!!!

Been toying around with a tankwell cover for the Slayer, see how it works tomorrow with my Burgess aerator. The things you can do with a umbrella net. Image Image

That's interesting Russ. I'll be curious to see how that works. You could make some money being a fish caddy.

Redfeesh express marine division would have a surcharge, love the slayer but it's no Magic 14.5 when it comes too speed!
