Kayak TYournament at Louis Bait Camp

I wasn't able to make the LSKS this weekend due to a wedding and wanted to know if anyone on here has signed up for the tournament at Louis Bait Camp on the 23rd? I know they are not just doing it for kayakers but boats and shore fisherman too. Does anybody have any suggestions where to stay that Saturday night that is not unreasonable Galveston prices?

Days Inn off of nasa Rd 1 and Texas ave.

I think I'm fishing it by boat this time. Hope to see some familiar faces!
