Just a reminder that the tournament will fall close to the full moon, about 95% full on the night of July 12th. We will be launching from the North shore ramp at 8pm and have some festivities beforehand. Weigh-in or Photo-in is at 8am Sunday morning on the 13th. Last year I fished with my cousin and we had a great time. This year we expect to have the biggest turnout ever too. So much fun and almost everyone agrees that it is the best kayak bass fishing tournament around.

Are people required to fish in pairs? If so are y'all pairing up solo anglers? I would really like to make it to this but not having ever fished this lake it's kinda sketchy for me to paddle into the darkness not knowing my way around even the slightest bit

Tried to post the other day and just realized it never showed up. Are y'all making people fish in groups or individually? I would love to participate in this but having never fished the lake before it's kinda sketchy to paddle into the darkness not knowing anything about the layout of the water. If it's groups are y'all pairing solo participants, couldn't seem to convince my buddies to go with me to this.

I fished last year with my cousin. Lots of guys stay in pairs. You can't share catches, so kind of an honor system. We all agree to just have fun and be safe.

Gearing up for the win.

Super moon is in effect for July 12th! Not just a full moon, but what they call a super moon.

Currently we are excited and expecting over 50 anglers. Many plan to arrive at the North Launch early, so we can grill. CCKF will be smoking brisket all night to serve everyone brisket breakfast tacos in the morning.

Several raffles. Such as SuperNova Fishing Lights raffle and then immediate install of a new set of lights on someone's kayak, on anyone that doesn't currently have them. They just need to bring a battery. I suggest a 12volt dear feeder battery. You need to be there by 5pm for that raffle.

I also hear lots of swag and a huge payout is to be expected!
