Hello Everyone.

Thinking about taking the wifey to something fun and unique for V-day that includes fishing.

I have already looked through Air bnb, and such, but was wondering if anyone had ideas on good places to go for a weekend getaway in a remote location that we can catch some fish. Anywhere within 200 miles of Austin.

in Rockport - rustic but clean cabins on a small private pond (with fish) just an easy walk to St Charles Bay. We went a few years ago, was a terrific trip if you want a romantic private getaway. Don't know about the fishing around there in February - others can chime in on that - I know there are a few regulars on here that live close to there.
