Arroyo City/Port Mansfield Lodging Suggestions

Thinking about making a trip down the Arroyo City/Port Mansfield area sometime in 2014. So I’m looking for any suggestions in regards to lodging in that area. Would like to target red’s and snook during the day from the yak, specks under some lights at night from a pier.
I’ve been surfing the web and found some places, but most seen to revolve around a lodge where guide service is part of the package for staying at the lodge. I’d love to be able to do that, but I just can’t afford that type of package deal. I’ve also seen places that look like they cater to more of the “high roller” type, and those places are just too pricey for me.
So I’m looking for the usual: place close to or on the water that is yak friendly, clean, kitchen with outdoor grill, an average price of around $100 night, be able to accommodate 2-3 people. Place with a lighted pier or close to a lighted pier is important also.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
