Looking for a weekend get away for the wife and I. She wants non corpus beach and I want to chase some reds. We have a tight budget. Any suggestions?

[Pelicans Nest]

Check out our place in Sargent. Black Drum has started and catch them right off our pier in the ICW. We are minutes from Mitchell's cut and East Matagorda Bay.
