We're thinking about getting a canal house for a few days around 4th of July.....prefer Galveston or Surfside....but would consider anything within reasonable driving distance from H-Town.

Might be out of your way but we stayed at one in Rockport a few weekends back that was awesome. 200 yards from boat ramp and 200 yards from companies bay all on the same canal. 4/3 bath. Three story. One bedroom is a water level apartment type. Dog run type garage. It's on miss kitty's website. House name is paradise found. It's in holiday beach.
