Wanted wkend rental for 7 w pet Galveston-Corpus

Post by Riverlady »

I'm about dizzy looking at all the rentals online - anyone who has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. We have a party of 7, including 1 11 yr old, plus elderly dog, and are looking for a house (preferred over condo) to rent on the water with fishing pier and good kayak access (that does not involve an attempt to board kayak from dock), preferably under $200/night, for a 3 day weekend in mid to late June. Funky is fine.

Thanks

This is close to your needs. $2k for a week rental. You have to launch from a dock though. Lighthouse lakes is minutes away, and estes flats is right outside fo the canal system. Traylor island is a good 2 mile paddle, probably into a fierce headwind.

The canal system has a ton of green lights.
