Pear Infused Vodka
Vodka............... 2 btl
Un-ripe Pears.... Enough to fill
Bottles.............. 4 empty w/cork (wine bottles)
Water................ 1 Pot
1. Make sure empty bottles are washed and cleaned
2. Peel and core pears
3. Slice pear in to small strips
4. Make sure slices are small enough to fit in to empty bottle
5. Fill bottle with pear slices just to the start of the neck of the bottle
6. Make sure not to force more pears than you need. They need to be somewhat loose in the bottle but enough to fill it.
7. Pour vodka in to bottle and cover pears
8. Don’t fill all the way to the top, just enough to cover pears
9. Repeat with other bottles, there maybe left over pears or vodka don’t worry about them
10. Put a cork in to each bottle to seal them
11. Bring water to a boil and place the bottles in the pot for about 5 minutes
12. Don’t leave them in to long or the corks will pop out
13. Put bottles on a shelf for 3 months
14. After three months open a bottle and pour over ice, enjoy
15. You can also use FIGS instead of pears for another flavor
