mini meatloafs
I just ground up a big porkchop &a strip steak in my grandmother's old chopper,
that i built a support for to fit in the drawer
it works Great, and the grind is a little more coarse than my electric grinder, which I really like
it's also about 5'mins faster on clean-up than the electric
about 1/3 onion chopped, 1-egg, some milk, Panko & Italian bread crumbs, garlic & misc. seasoning
molded in a small bowl & wrapped with thin cheap bacon
most excellent

Good looking food! I want to find one of those old meat grinders, so much less cleanup I'm sure.

Another method I've seen from good eats is to use a food processor, just give the meat a few whacks till it's the consistency you need. I've done that and it works ok and cleanup is just to throw the parts in the dish washer. Less consistent on the grind though.

Great recipe! I'll be trying it out.

By the way, just in case anyone’s interested, my brother Aaron is selling a few Foose Wheels. If anyone’s interested, feel free to PM me.
